Dr. Etido Akpan wrote a book published by ACW press called "Finding and Keeping Your Significant Other". The book is a manual for both single individuals and married couples based on biblical principals. |

Dr. Abed Almala, Dean of Fredericksburg Campus, gave a presentation on " Characteristics of E-learners: Who Benefits and Who Doesn't" at the 2005 League for Innovation's Conference on Information Technology in Dallas, Texas. Prof Almala also recently published an article on e-learning in "Distance Learning" magazine. |

Prof. Alvah T. Beander was featured in "ASA Professional", the quarterly magazine of the American Society of Appraisers which highlighted Prof. Beander's company Melanin Art Appraisals LLC. Melanin Art Appraisals LLC specializes in African art assessments. |

Prof. Jeanine Bennett was appointed Vice President of Programming for the Board of Directors of the Hampton Roads American Marketing Association. Prof. Bennett also serves as Assistant Director of Law , Career, and Alumni Services at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. |

Dr. Paul Cappuzzo gave a lecture at the TCC Arts Center in Portsmouth, Virginia called "Viewing and Understanding Art in a Museum Setting: A Historical Journey". The presentation focused on various historical approaches to museum exhibited art. The presentation also included a discussion of art in the context of its time and purpose. |

Prof. Elaine Cassel wrote the second edition of her textbook, "Criminal Behavior", which was published in August 2006 by Erlbaum. Additionally Prof. Cassel is a frequent guest columnist for FindLaw's "Writ", an online Thompson-West publication and she also teaches at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Lord Fairfax Community College in Virginia where she chairs the Social Science Department. |

Prof. Regina Daigre earned an Educational Leadership Certificate from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Additionally Prof. Daigre gave a presentation titled "Business and Information Technology: Nuts and Bolts" at the Henry County Schools Teacher Induction Program in Georgia. |

Associate Campus Dean Madhavi Basnet Karki worked as a Human Rights Attorney in Nepal before immigrating to the U.S. and frequently appears on community-based radio stations to discuss the human rights situation in Nepal. |

Prof. Dennis McGeehan, a dean of Lower Bucks County Campus, gave a presentation on "Adapting Workplace and Cultural Influences to a Community of Working Adults and Practitioners" at the Pennsylvania Association for Adult Continuing Education Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania. |

Prof. Mark McMullen is the Executive Vice President of The Integer Group, a leading international retail and promotional marketing firm. Prof. McMullen was a featured speaker at the ASTA World Congress in Montreal, Canada in November 2005. Additionally Prof. McMullen has self published "Strategies for Selling More Succesfully", a book that targets the travel and hospitality industries. |
